Back to School?

I took advantage of the Back-to-School sale, for infants and toddlers (nice that they are included), at Osh Kosh and Carter's yesterday. Joseph had to put on his new duds as soon as I showed them to him!! He later decided that 90 degrees was still a bit warm for long-sleeves and pants.

Notice the blue marker on his upper lip...I bought him washable markers today (maybe not a good idea!).

Hannah successfully rolled over this week (with a little assistance). I propped her on my pillow while getting dressed, next thing I new she was on her stomach. She is still working on doing it without a slight incline.

She is just as determined to roll front to back!

She loves to read!

And, has found a new friend!

New Ears!!!

Joseph had 'surgery' to put tubes in his ears today.

We are so proud!! He was a perfect patient!

He was really upset when we met him in recovery. Mostly groggy from the anestesthia, but he was also a little scared I think. However, an hour later he was back to himself, happy and playing with his toys.

Little miss Hannah is doing well too! They are both napping right now, YEA!! :-)

Babies, Babies Everywhere!

We just got home from an awesome weekend with all of the new cousins!!! We traveled to Nashville over Labor Day where we all got to play with all of the 'Laws' babies!!!

From Left to Right: Hannah, Mom-Mom, Campbell, Joseph, Poppa, and Ava.

Joseph had a BLAST! He thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of him new cousins and checking out all of their toys, like Ava's ear muffs!

Hanging with Mom-Mom! All weekend long he would yell, "Yea Mom-Mom!" whenever he did something.

And he wore himself out running around the hotel!!!

Mom-Mom and Campbell (Carl and Ellen's son)

Hannah and Campbell

All of the babies were passed out when we arrived at our hotel, Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Again, Joseph LOVES his Mom-Mom!

Hannah and her duck! She is becoming increasingly more aware of objects and people around her. And, the girl LOVES to talk!!! She is going to be quite the chatter box!

Everyone was worn out after the long weekend vaca! Joseph slept until 7:45AM and then took a 4 hour nap the day after we got home. Too bad that didn't last. He was up bright and early at 6:30AM this morning. YUCK!

Joseph is having surgery on Monday to put tubes in his ears. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. We have been told that the procedure is short and that he should be up and playing by the evening. He does have to be put under general anethesia though, so we are praying that there are no complications with that. Hopefully, once all is said and done, the tubes will prevent anymore of these horrible ear infections that cause Joseph to have 104-105 degree temperatures that linger around for 2-3 days!

I will put up some more pics from our trip to Nashville when I get them from everyone else that was there. I thought I had taken more of Ava, Kim's daughter, but I guess I must have picked up someone else's camera to shoot those (all of the families have the same camera). :-)

Tata for now!
