Summer Fun!

We have thoroughly enjoyed swimming this year. Joseph is starting to get the hang of it without using his swim vest, and Hannah, well...you gotta watch this girl. Her theme song is, "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!". As soon as Joseph's vest comes off, she is shedding hers, unconcerned with whether or not someone is ready to help her swim. She is the cause of my greying hair... The 'young' man in the picture is my Dad. Mom and Dad came for a wonderful visit a week ago and we had SO MUCH FUN! The kids are so excited that their home will be finished soon so that we can visit them more often! Can't wait for fun times in NC!

Joseph participated in Blastball this year. I think the highlight was the pizza party and trophy, but he enjoyed having a sport to play and is really good at it! Now he wants to play football, soccer and basketball. Good thing we already have the van... :)

There is a lot of love in this house. And, LOTS of hugs that are dished out mainly from the smallest member! Nobody can turn their back to a hug from Julia, or keep from giving one to her. She is such a little joy. I love how close the kids are and I pray that it continues throughout the years!

Till next time...

H is my little Mommy. She is constantly looking after her sibblings and helping out where she can. In 10 years this child is going to make a FABULOUS babysitter! She continually pipes in to 'remind' us of things that we need to do, or not do. Tonight as she and Joseph got ready for bed, I heard Joseph go into the bathroom and Hannah yell, "Joseph remember, don't fall into the toilet!". Haha! She cracks me up! I love this girl!

Princes and Princesses

It has been forever since I have blogged, but the craziness that goes on in this house has to be documented or I will forget how hysterical my kids are...

Mom-Mom and Poppa came for a visit last week and we had a blast. Hannah couldn't wait to show off her princess outfits and of course, dress up her baby (who happens to be Julia). I truly think that Hannah believes Julia to be a real live babydoll. She feeds her, picks out her clothes, tries to kiss her booboos. It is so funny to watch!

This one is SO FUNNY! Already we can tell that she is going to have a personality as big as her smile! And she is 100% a hugger! She will tackle the kids to hug them! Joseph and Hannah will start to protest and then can't help but laugh as she dives after them and starts trying to kiss them.

Joseph just finished his first year of blastball (tee ball). He did great! Although I think the highlight of the year was getting his trophy!

This post is short and a little bit disjointed, but just wanted to re-introduce the fam as I haven't posted in years! Hopefully, I can get my act together and continue this from here... :)
