It all started with Raliegh...Doesn't it alwasy though!

As I said, it all started with Raliegh and her 1st Birthday celebration at our house!!! She decided not to cooperate for the picture!
After the big birthday bash, Joseph and I headed off on a plane to MD to visit family and friends! Joseph's best-bud Colin came over for dinner the night after we got here! Both boys were exstatic about the awesome car exersaucer that Mom-Mom and Poppa bought!!! Where did they find such a COOL toy?!
Colin was nice enough to let Joseph borrow his Johnny Jump Up. The kid can jump for hours, and without it his day is not complete!
Amazingly our timing couldn't have been better as we have been able to spend time with Uncle Carl twice since we got here! A record!!! We only wish that soon-to-be Aunt Ellen could have been here too!!!

As is often the case, we have yet to see Monica since Joseph was born even though she lives in Portland. But, as luck would have it she was in town for our friend Christina's wedding, so we got to catch up with here in good ol' MD.

Joseph is already getting his sea legs! And, he has fit into his role as skipper quite well!!! Next year he will no doubt take over the whole operation!!!

LIFE IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joseph has also been able to visit his other best-bud Tommy!!! Tommy is really great with Joseph and was eager to help him jump!!! They both thought it was histerical!

Watch out - SUMO wrestler!!!! We suited the boys up for a trip out in the boat through the Egerer's neighborhood. I wish I had a lake in our backyard!!!

And, finally, no week can be complete without a trip to the park!!! I think Poppa is eager for this little man to start moving around! He had him on slides, swings, even let him stand (supported of course) on the top of the rock climbing wall (which was only 4 feet tall).

Joseph loves sunglasses!!! He doesn't discriminate...he'll take yours, his, or a perfect strangers!!!
Alas, no fun filled week comes without a price. My little J-bird is fighting a stuffy nose and cough this week! Maybe he is getting ready to cut more teeth...that is what happened last time. Oh, did I mention he has two teeth?!
Anyway, we are doing well and Brandon is doing good in Iraq too! We are all eager to have him home!!!
