It all started with Raliegh...Doesn't it alwasy though!

As I said, it all started with Raliegh and her 1st Birthday celebration at our house!!! She decided not to cooperate for the picture!
After the big birthday bash, Joseph and I headed off on a plane to MD to visit family and friends! Joseph's best-bud Colin came over for dinner the night after we got here! Both boys were exstatic about the awesome car exersaucer that Mom-Mom and Poppa bought!!! Where did they find such a COOL toy?!
Colin was nice enough to let Joseph borrow his Johnny Jump Up. The kid can jump for hours, and without it his day is not complete!
Amazingly our timing couldn't have been better as we have been able to spend time with Uncle Carl twice since we got here! A record!!! We only wish that soon-to-be Aunt Ellen could have been here too!!!

As is often the case, we have yet to see Monica since Joseph was born even though she lives in Portland. But, as luck would have it she was in town for our friend Christina's wedding, so we got to catch up with here in good ol' MD.

Joseph is already getting his sea legs! And, he has fit into his role as skipper quite well!!! Next year he will no doubt take over the whole operation!!!

LIFE IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joseph has also been able to visit his other best-bud Tommy!!! Tommy is really great with Joseph and was eager to help him jump!!! They both thought it was histerical!

Watch out - SUMO wrestler!!!! We suited the boys up for a trip out in the boat through the Egerer's neighborhood. I wish I had a lake in our backyard!!!

And, finally, no week can be complete without a trip to the park!!! I think Poppa is eager for this little man to start moving around! He had him on slides, swings, even let him stand (supported of course) on the top of the rock climbing wall (which was only 4 feet tall).

Joseph loves sunglasses!!! He doesn't discriminate...he'll take yours, his, or a perfect strangers!!!
Alas, no fun filled week comes without a price. My little J-bird is fighting a stuffy nose and cough this week! Maybe he is getting ready to cut more teeth...that is what happened last time. Oh, did I mention he has two teeth?!
Anyway, we are doing well and Brandon is doing good in Iraq too! We are all eager to have him home!!!

Aunt Lydia Visits!

We had a BLAST hanging out with Aunt Lydia last week!

We traveled all over Washington, to the Zoo, a HUGE waterfall, and the beach!!! Who new WA was so cool!

Of course Joseph LOVED every single minute of it! He only stopped to complain when he got a cold and then two of his teeth decided to break through! POOR LITTLE MONKEY!!!

It's all better now though! Two bottom teeth are through, his cold is gone, and we are gearing up for our visit to MD.

Grandma, "Nunich", Prisock is here helping us get the house settled before we leave for two months. We can't wait to see you east coasters!!!!

Big Smiles Everywhere!!!

We are finally getting settled from our trip to MS. We had such a good time!

Joseph got to go to his first wedding, to see cousin Brandi get married.
This picture was taken for Daddy...J really looks up to him!!! Takes after him too!!

And, he was able to meet his little cousins Korbin and Wesley!

I just noticed that these pictures are really out of order. Bottom line - we had a great time, and now we are back in WA hanging out with our friends and Ike and Emma!

Happy Easter!!!!

Wow, I did not realize that it has been so long since I last updated this blog!!! Honestly, I have tried to add to it before today. Anyway, Joseph and I had a fabulous Easter weekend with Aunt Kim and Uncle Andrew. We went shopping, to church, had jelly beans...I could go on and on!!! Joseph is wonderful! He has grown SO MUCH, and I can't believe he will be 5 months old in a couple weeks! We have been keeping ourselves busy visiting friends and family, going to the YMCA, and hanging out at home! This month has been a bit different because Brandon moved to a different area where phones are scarce and the internet isn't readily available. Because of this I have only been able to talk to him once a week for a couple of minutes at a time. NOT IDEAL AT ALL!!! He is, however, doing well and keeping busy!! We are still waiting to find out if and how long he will be extended.

So, anyway, here are some pictures from our weekend.

Thanks to the Murray's Joseph is ready for the sunshine, which does actually come out once-in-awhile! I love how he sports them with his paci!!!
Aunt Kim and Uncle Andrew hooked Joseph up with a GIGANTIC Easter basket! The adults enjoyed the candy, while Joseph enjoyed the new toys!!!

Look out, Joseph held his bottle for the first time this weekend! He also took it out of his mouth and TRIED to put it back in again - It didn't work, but we were impressed!! Notice how he uses his feet to help out in the effort...this is how he got his nick-name Monkey!

Joseph also turned over for the first time this morning. I didn't get it on film or video - darnit!!! But we did celebrate the big achievement!!!!!!!

Watch Out WORLD Here I Come!!!

These pictures are going to be a bit out of order, but still very enjoyable! Joseph and I have spent the last two weeks hanging out on the East Coast with almost all of our family and friends. Unfortunately, I have lost the pics taken of some of our outings because my camera crapped out before I could download them. These pictures are from Mom's camera. Luckily she is good at getting all of the good shots!!!
Anyway, we started our adventure in MD visiting Mom-Mom and Poppa. Joseph has grown quite a bit since landing on the East Coast; must be something in the water!!! He went from arriving in 0-3 month clothes to now busting out of them into 3-6 months. He is going to be tall...as if he had a choice!

A week after arriving in MD, we hoped another plane down to Arkansas to celebrate the engagement of Carl and Ellen!!! YEA!!!!! And, as luck would have it my two sister-in-laws and Mother-in-law were also in town, so we got to have brunch with them one day too!!!
This is a picture of Carl, Ellen, and Molly at Ellen's house. Aren't they a cute family!!!!
This picture was taken of the entire Laws and Flynn family at the engagement party for Carl and Ellen. Joseph partied so hard that he crashed before picture time.
On our way back to MD from Arkansas we got stuck in Chicago because of a winter storm in MD. This is a picture of Joseph getting his first lesson on airplanes. And then after a long lesson he racked out in Mom-Mom's arms on the plane.
Poppa is full life lessons...
and he has really COOL earphones!!!

And, back to pictures in AR. Andrew and Joseph are obviously deep in thought in this picture. I think they were discusing how to engineer a ceiling fan for automobiles. They are just SO interesting to stare at!!!

Again, out of order...but here is a pic of Aunt Laura and J!

The Friday after we arrived in MD we met up with Janet and Tommy. I had to steel this pic from Tommy's blog since I lost my pics from that day!
Here is a pic from our visit with cousins.

And, Arney. And , the babysitters and babysittee at church!

And, lastly my cousin susan with J. We were also able to see Robyn, John, Colin, Noelle, and Taryn, but alas those pictures were lost as well. (Any of you girls have pix you can share with me?!)
We have had a wonderful time here on the Right coast. Hopefully, we will get out here again soon WITH BRANDON!!! We love you all!!
